Dove Award-nominated Stan Whitmire has a list of accomplishments which are as astoundingly diverse as they are impressive. He brings to each performance a rich musical heritage spanning several generations and covering a variety of musical styles.
A graduate of The Westminster Schools in Atlanta, he accompanied Frank Boggs and the Westminster Ensemble, touring extensively in the U.S. and Europe. Interestingly enough, Stan went on to graduate from Georgia State University with a B.B.A. degree in Accounting.
Having studied piano privately in the Atlanta area for 15 years, beginning at the age of four, he made the decision in 1986 to devote all his energies to working in the field of music. He travels extensively throughout the country touring and performing. His debut CD on the Village Square label is Unforgettable Love Songs.
